New England Artisans grew out of a working partnership that Eddie Day and Jay DiApice began in 1999. After several years working together, they formally established New England Artisans Remodeling & Design Group in 2003.

Both originally from New York, Eddie and Jay brought a direct, hands-on work ethic with them to Connecticut—an approach that still shapes how NEA plans, communicates, and keeps projects moving.

Since then, the company has grown into an experienced remodeling operation with an in-house field crew, long-standing trade partners, company-owned equipment, and the systems needed to manage substantial residential renovations.

Eddie and Jay remain personally involved in the work today. That owner-level involvement, combined with an experienced team in the field, allows NEA to take on larger and more complex projects without losing the personal accountability and attention that have defined the company from the beginning.

Our work includes kitchens, bathrooms and primary suites, whole-home renovations, additions, structural remodeling, masonry, exterior work, and custom interior carpentry throughout Fairfield County and select nearby Connecticut communities.
